Journalist Ezrela Dalidia Fanai, who was working with Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) in Aizawl, was found dead at her residence in Khatla on Thursday morning. She was the daughter of late Lalhmerliani Fanai.
According to sources, Dalidia was discovered at around 10:10 a.m. inside her house. Family members and authorities confirmed that the exact cause of death is not yet known, and further details are awaited. Police and local authorities are expected to carry out the necessary procedures to determine what may have led to the incident.
Dalidia was known among media circles as a sincere and hardworking journalist. She had been associated with Doordarshan Kendra, Aizawl, for several years and was also a member of the Mizoram Journalists’ Association (MJA). Colleagues described her as quiet, dedicated and passionate about her profession.
