Bihar State Road Construction Minister Nitin Nabin was on Sunday appointed as the national working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The decision was taken by the party’s parliamentary board and announced in New Delhi.
Nitin Nabin, 45, is one of the younger and prominent leaders of the BJP from Bihar. His appointment is being seen within the party as an important step towards strengthening the organisation at the national level and encouraging new leadership.
A five-time Member of the Legislative Assembly, Nabin represents the Bankipur Assembly constituency in Bihar. Over the years, he has built a strong political base in the state and is known for his organisational work. He has served twice as a minister in the Bihar government and currently holds the portfolio of State Road Construction Minister.
Apart from his ministerial responsibilities in Bihar, Nabin has also handled key organisational roles. His work as the BJP’s in-charge for Chhattisgarh has been appreciated within party circles, with leaders pointing to his efforts in strengthening the party structure and coordination in the state.
