Bollywood veteran Dharmendra’s health became a matter of confusion and concern on social media after a tweet mistakenly reported his demise. The erroneous tweet was initially attributed to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Following confirmation from Dharmendra’s media team, the tweet has now been deleted, and the family has requested privacy until official updates are shared.
Amid the confusion, Dharmendra’s daughter, actress Esha Deol, posted a heartfelt update to clarify the situation. She wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable & recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.” Her message received thousands of likes and shares within minutes, showing the overwhelming support from fans and well-wishers.
Veteran actress Hema Malini also expressed her dismay over the spread of false news. She said, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”
