A powerful explosion shook the NSCN K-YA camp near Changlai village in Myanmar during the night. The blast, reportedly caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), has left the camp in turmoil.
Initial reports indicate that around 9 to 10 NSCN K-YA cadres lost their lives in the explosion. However, officials have yet to provide an official confirmation regarding the number of casualties.
The NSCN K-YA camp was under the leadership of SS Maj Gen Umlai Kaisan, who was not present at the camp during the explosion. His absence likely prevented further casualties among the top leadership of the organization.
