Speaking in the House, CM Himanta said that from the very beginning, he has maintained that Zubeen Garg’s death was not natural but a planned murder. “From day one, I have said on record and also on social media that this is a murder. There is no doubt about it,” he said. The Chief Minister also assured that the state government is pursuing the case as a murder investigation and that four to five people have been booked in connection with the case as accomplices.
Zubeen Garg, the popular singer and musician, was known for his contribution to Assamese culture and music.
