Assam once again came together in love and respect for the late Zubeen Garg as political leaders and fans gathered at cinema halls to watch his final film Roi Roi Binale. The emotion that has gripped the state since the film’s release continued today, with people from all walks of life sharing a common purpose — to honor the memory of the beloved singer and actor.

At Narengi Gold Cinema Hall in Guwahati, ministers, MLAs, and senior members of the Assam Gana Parishad (AGP) attended the second screening of the film. In a touching gesture, the party booked 218 seats for its leaders and members. The hall was filled with quiet emotion as leaders and supporters took their seats, not as politicians, but as admirers of a man whose art touched every Assamese heart.

The screening started at 11 a.m., but fans had already begun gathering much earlier. Some arrived with flowers and posters, while others simply came with heavy hearts and deep respect. It was not a political outing — it was a moment of collective remembrance. Zubeen Garg’s name and music echoed through the crowd, reminding everyone of the energy and love he brought to Assam.

Meanwhile, leaders from other regional parties also paid tribute by attending separate screenings. Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) chief Lurinjyoti Gogoi, along with senior leaders Jagadish Bhuyan and Pankaj Lochan Goswami, watched the film at Silver Screen Digital Cinema Hall in Bijoynagar. Before stepping inside, they paused to pay homage to Zubeen Garg, reflecting on his immense contribution to Assamese culture. Their gesture showed how Zubeen was more than an artist — he was a unifying figure who touched people across ideologies and generations.

In another part of the city, Raijor Dal chief and Sibsagar MLA Akhil Gogoi joined fans at Cinepolish Hall to watch the film. Much like others, he did not come as a political voice, but as one among thousands who loved Zubeen and admired his journey. There was no speech, no slogan — only quiet respect and emotional memories.
