Assam Congress President and Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Gaurav Gogoi, has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the recent bomb blast in Delhi, which claimed several lives and injured many others. Reacting to the incident, Gogoi said, “First Pahalgam and now Delhi. It is shocking and deeply painful to see Indian civilians succumbing to terror in 2025.”
He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the blast. “As public servants, our first duty is to keep our citizens safe. My heart goes out to the victims of these terror attacks and I pray for the well-being of those injured,” he said.
Gogoi also stressed the importance of a thorough investigation into the incident and called for strict action against those responsible. “At this time, the perpetrators and the facts behind this tragedy must be pursued ruthlessly. We cannot avoid introspection and accountability,” he added.
Highlighting the need for unity in the face of terror, the Congress leader urged the people of India to stand together during this difficult time. “India must remain united and strong at this moment,” he said.
